- Place a candle in your window as a reminder of the times in which we live.
- Help create a culture of peace.

Committees Within HWPCEP
We welcome new members to our group and to all of its committees. Please let us know if you are interested in helping on one of the following:

Steering Committee
Discusses projects and programs to bring to the entire group for consideration. Sets the agenda for monthly meetings. Meets monthly.

Organizational Structure Committee
Establishes the procedures and structures by which the organization will operate.

Education Committee
Develops informational programs for our members and for the wider community on issues that concern us as citizens (e.g., Patriot Act talk).

Communications Committee
Maintains and develops networks of communication for publicity and reaching out to the larger community.

Membership & Outreach Committee
Welcomes new members. Manages phone tree for internal communications. Arranges for distribution of fliers for programs put on by the group.

Ad hoc committees are formed as needed for some specific events (e.g., Candlelight Peace Vigil, Peace Picnic). All are welcome to participate in these committees, too.
